The Situation
Ultreo had two major objectives when it came to choosing integration software:
- Provide remote sales and customer service users with access to Microsoft Dynamics NAV information using a Web browser.
- Ensure connectivity to Microsoft Dynamics NAV data from an e-commerce website.
The Solution
Fusion NAV installation gives Ultreo the ability
to integrate seamlessly from third-party
applications. At the same time, an employee
Web portal allows users to remotely access
key Microsoft Dynamics NAV information about
customers, contacts, accounts and more.
These Web applications also let users enter
new orders, take credit card payments and
view order and shipment history. And Fusion
NAV integrates to their E-Commerce website -
synchronizing customers, credit card
transactions and other Microsoft Dynamics
NAV data.
The Result
With Fusion NAV’s employee portal, users are
no longer bound to specific computers, devices
or locations, since they can access information from any computer with a Web browser,
making for better customer service. Because the program directly integrates Microsoft
Dynamics NAV to the Ultreo website, manual updates of the website aren’t needed,
reducing the possibility of human error as it frees up internal resources for other tasks.
And, with the Fusion NAV gateway installed, Ultreo has the ability to build future
applications that integrate with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
