Heelys selects western computer as its Dynamics NAV partner

Heelys, Inc . is a publicly held company (NASDAQ: HLYS) headquartered in Carrollton, Texas with operations in Belgium, Germany, France and China. Heelys' products are available in sporting goods and sports specialty stores nationwide and in 50 countries around the world.

Heelys needed a multi-country, multi-currency system, scalable to support planned global expansion. With 42 full-time concurrent users, Heelys was looking for a single, seamless business solution that would increase their visibility of key data across their enterprise and will effectively integrate all their primary business processes (sales, manufacturing, projects, financial management, and business analysis).

Heelys has selected Western Computer as its Dynamics NAV partner to implement an ERP system that will help meet its vision of incorporating all of their primary business processes:

• Provide a “single source of truth” for all data, e.g., single customer and item masters, single system that includes Financials, Distribution, Order Management, Inventory Management, Warehousing, and Data Management.
• Improve profitability by supporting effective business decisions based on comprehensive management reporting and business intelligence capabilities (detailed cost tracking and reporting).
• Visibility into Sales, Operations, and Service activities at a global level.
• Accurate Financial Reporting - An application that ensures the production of accurate financial and cost/management accounting data that is founded on the US GAAP accounting principles and able to report across multiple country requirements for Statutory Reporting needs.
• Establish globally standardized processes based on leading industry practices.
• Automated processes and approvals.
