Business Central Power BI Consultant

Western Computer Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, is growing, and currently looking to add a new Business Central Power BI Consultant to our team of professionals.

The Business Central Power BI Consultant helps customers in their journey to a modern cloud data platform that helps them gain knowledge and insight from their data.

Primary Functions:

Meet with customers to understand their challenges around data management and reporting
Work with stakeholders and users to define and document BI requirements
Design and build datasets, reports and dashboards in Power BI to support customer requirements
Work alongside technical architects to identify proper data stores such as AzureSQL or Azure Data Lake
Participate in estimation of effort for complete projects including design, development and maintenance of data management solutions
Identify principles, patterns and architecture that provides a clear vision for delivering value from data
Work with the business development team to present data management and reporting solutions to customers.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Direct experience with delivering Power BI projects against ERP and/or CRM data sources
Familiarity and/or knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
Familiarity with data architecture concepts, including ETL and data security best practices
Understanding of system integration and data access approaches, such as API's
Experience with Business Central database structure and reporting
