Business Development Representative

Western Computer is on the lookout for an energetic and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you'll drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing leads. Key Responsibilities:  

  • Act as first touch point for all inbound leads; gauging interest and demand for Microsoft Dynamics Solutions and qualifying leads into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).  

  • Respond to all inbound leads within 4 business hours.  

  • Research company for full background and add data points into Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM). 

  • Determine Budget, Authority, Need, Timing (BANT). 

  • Review activity logs/engagement with Western Computer and send targeted follow up messages.  

  • Generate 48 SQLs each year through outbound tactics. 

  • Execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan through calling, emailing, and social media.  

  • Understand and incorporate buyer intent data within messaging. 

  • Identify champions and key stakeholders within target accounts and prioritize for prospecting campaigns. 

  • Enter leads into Marketo and ensure proper sync into CRM. 

  • Schedule qualifying meetings with Business Development Managers. 

  • Work to understand full sales process. 

  • Learn from BDMs what makes the best/qualified opportunity.  

  • Monitor Western Computer’s online chat and respond to all requests. 

  • Maintain CRM with 100% accuracy. 

  • Diligent note taking and documentation.  

  • Manage prospecting status, data integration, and forecasting in CRM. 

  • Improve and contribute to high-performing sales and marketing team. 

  • Work with marketing lead to hone messaging to deliver high-qualify leads. 

  • Contribute actively to weekly meetings, sharing learnings, and provide feedback to other sale reps. 




  • 3+ Years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience 

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent communication 

  • Experience with Marketing Automation and Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications  

  • Computer skills ranging from Microsoft 365 through various browser-based programs such as G2 and LinkedIn 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
