Engagement Manager- Microsoft Dynamics CE

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to join our Microsoft Dynamics CE team. The Engagement Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high levels of employee satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of our organization. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Train team members on new processes and systems, leveraging Solution Architects (SA’s).
  • Hold recurring one-on-one meetings with team members.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for team members.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Manage employee satisfaction issues and address concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain growth plans for team members.
  • Evaluate skillsets within the team and identify areas of need and improvement.
  • Drive team meetings in coordination with the rest of the Leadership Team that allows for communication of relevant company information

 

Maintain Project Health:

  • Manage escalation management processes effectively.
  • Work with management to assemble project teams and timelines for the overall program.
  • Resolve conflicts within the team and project stakeholders.
  • Negotiate billing and discounts for projects.
  • Monitor project status and ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with the CE team to navigate project direction.
  • Remove obstacles for Project Managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Work effectively with customers to gain trust and confidence in our team and project success.
  • Collaborate with SA’s and Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

 

Support Sales Processes:

  • Provide ad hoc assistance with presales engagements.
  • Assist in quoting and reviewing estimating worksheets and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Interact with prospects, answering questions and explaining our methodology.

 

Who you are:

An experienced CE user, tenured consultant, or manager who is able to harness their CE experience and perform in a highly collaborative environment to deliver quality solutions.

  • 6+ years experience in CE project implementations.
  • Proven experience in engagement management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • You love to share the solution with customers, presenting with confidence and navigating difficult conversations when customer desires and ideal systems aren’t aligned.
  • Ability to manage conflict and solve problems efficiently.
  • You understand the importance of change management and ensure everything is on point.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
