Managed IT Services NEW

Your IT team can't be everywhere at once.

A small team stretched across the help desk, the network, Microsoft 365, security, compliance, and AI vulnerabilities leaves little time for the projects that move the business forward. Western Computer gives you the depth of a full IT organization without the headcount, layered defenses running every day, AI acceptable-use guardrails, and one partner for your ERP and the IT underneath it.

What we hear on the first call

|"If ransomware hit us tomorrow, I'm not sure we'd survive it cleanly." | "We back things up, but I've never actually tested a restore."

|"When something breaks, I'm the one chasing four vendors." | "Our cyber insurer asked for evidence of our controls. Pulling it together took two weeks."

Why Companies Move to Managed IT

Five gaps we see most often.

Business risk you can't recover from comes first, operational stretch second, structure third. If the first two are already handled, start at three.

Ransomware confidence

You have antivirus and MFA, but no one is watching, and you have no written response plan.

Threats caught early, and a written incident response plan if one gets through.

Untested backup

You back things up, but no one checks whether the backups actually worked.

Microsoft 365 and servers backed up and monitored, with restores tested every year.

Coverage without headcount

Your IT team is one to three people, and hiring the full team you would need is not realistic.

Expertise across every layer, without adding a single hire.

Nobody owns the outcome

When something breaks, you chase multiple vendors and no one owns the outcome.

Faster resolution, and one number to call when it matters.

Audit readiness

Your insurer or auditor asks for proof, and pulling it together takes weeks.

Questionnaires answered with evidence, not estimates.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

  • We already have an IT person. Does this replace them?

No, and this is worth saying plainly because it's usually the quiet question in the room. Most of our customers keep their internal IT person. What changes is what that person spends their day on.

They stop being the only line of defense at 7 p.m. and stop being expected to be an expert in security, Microsoft 65, networking, and compliance all at once. If you'd rather we handle everything, we can do that too. Both models are normal.

  • Do you support our Dynamics ERP too?

Yes, and it sits under a different Western agreement. Managed IT Services covers your users, devices, identity, Microsoft 365, and security. Support for the ERP application itself, whether that's Business Central, Finance and Supply Chain Management, GP, or NAV, comes from our support team under a managed support agreement or on a scoped basis.

Two agreements, one company. If you want both, one relationship covers it.

  • What size company is this built for?

Ten to two hundred users, with a ten-user minimum.

Our rate is the same at ten users as it is at a hundred, which is not true of every provider you'll talk to.

  • What does it cost?

Flat per computer user, per mobile-only user, and per server, per month, at a rate that holds regardless of ticket volume, with a one-time setup fee equal to the first month.

We'll walk through the full pricing sheet on the first call. Work outside the managed scope is quoted as a fixed fee and approved before it starts.

  • What is Cyber Liability Essentials?

It's the security documentation insurers and auditors ask for, included at both levels: a written incident response plan, security and AI acceptable-use policies, user training, and audit-ready evidence that your leadership signs off on.

Standard documents it. Advanced adds the managed security that defends it.

  • How long is the agreement, and how long does onboarding take?

Agreements start at 12 months, and longer terms such as three years are available.

Onboarding takes about a month from signature to fully managed.

  • What if we're already with another IT provider?

That's most of the conversations we have. The practical question is when your current agreement renews, because that's what sets the timeline, not how quickly we can move.

The 26-minute review works either way. It tells you what your current posture looks like, which is useful information whoever ends up managing it.
