365CounterSales is a proprietary point-of-sale and counter sales application developed by Western Computer for Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. Built natively inside Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, it gives counter sales staff a purpose-built interface for inventory lookup, customer and order history searches, real-time discount and rebate visibility, cash-and-carry transactions, serial number verification, and multi-carrier parcel shipping. It is the only counter sales and POS solution built natively for F&SCM by a Microsoft Inner Circle partner.

Standard Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management does not include a native counter sales or point-of-sale interface. Counter sales transactions in a standard F&SCM environment require staff to use the standard sales order entry screens, which are designed for back-office processing rather than fast counter transactions. 365CounterSales by Western Computer adds a purpose-built counter sales interface directly inside F&SCM, giving counter staff a fast search, real-time pricing and discount visibility, cross-sell and up-sell prompts, serial number verification, and integrated parcel shipping.

365CounterSales is designed for wholesale distributors who operate a physical distribution counter where customers or contractors pick up orders or place walk-in orders. Common users include industrial distributors, electrical distributors, plumbing and HVAC distributors, building materials distributors, and any wholesale distribution operation where counter sales staff need to quickly find inventory, price orders, apply discounts and rebates, and complete transactions without leaving Dynamics 365.

365CounterSales surfaces real-time cross-sell and up-sell opportunities directly in the counter sales interface. When a staff member is processing a transaction, the system identifies related items, complementary products, and customer-specific pricing or promotions that apply to the current order. Profit margin calculations are displayed in real time during the transaction so counter staff can see the margin impact of discounts before applying them. Rebate eligibility is also visible at the counter, allowing staff to apply manufacturer rebates without manual calculation.

Yes. 365CounterSales includes built-in parcel shipping that allows counter staff to shop rates across multiple carriers and process shipments directly inside Dynamics 365. There is no separate shipping application required. This integrates with Western Computer's 365ParcelShip solution, which consolidates parcel shipping vendor management, rate shopping, and carrier label generation for the full distribution operation.
